About

I teach IT at the London School of Commerce, lead Periwin Solutions, the software company I founded in 2022, and research how organisations can govern the technical debt that AI-assisted development creates.

Over eight years I have designed and shipped web, mobile and enterprise systems, from a national infrastructure reporting system for the Government of Nepal to Turing CMS, now used by more than 180 clients. I have delivered technology solutions across education, media and journalism, healthcare, construction, HR technology, SaaS and optical retail.

Governing AI-Induced Technical Debt: A Design Science Framework for Software Engineering Organisations

The problem

Organisations are adopting generative AI and AI-assisted development quickly because the productivity gains are immediate. My research examines the technical debt and governance challenges that can emerge when these tools become embedded in software engineering practice without adequate long-term oversight, and how organisations can manage maintainability, accountability and risk as a result.

Teaching

Higher education in IT and computing.

I lecture in IT at the London School of Commerce, including modules on emerging technologies. Before that I taught Java, Python, object-oriented programming and Big Data at Herald College Kathmandu to classes of 120+ students, and supervised more than 45 final-year dissertations in machine learning and web development.

My teaching draws on both industry practice and my research into AI governance, so students see how the technologies they study behave inside real organisations.
